The 5th Fox Valley open tournament will take place at
2 PM on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 at the Eola Community Center. The gym will be open for
warmups at 1:30.
This tournament is sponsored by Table Tennis Exchange company.
Registration
You can register using either
online registration or
mail-in registration. Payment for online registration is handled by PayPal using credit card or PayPal account if you have one. To register by mail visit the
registration form page, fill out the form and the print it. The cost is $25 for adults
and children 13 years old or older, $20 for children younger than 13. The mailing instructions are on the form. If
you would like to spread the word about our tournament you can download a
flyer with the tournament information and post it somewhere at your club.
Format
We will have the following divisions this time: Junior 12 and under, Junior 17 and under, Senior over 55, Ladies, Adult Amateur & Intermediate. In the
qualifying round robin round players will be assigned to a group of 6
players. Everyone will play 5 matches in his/her group and the top 2
players who won the most matches will advance to the single elimination
round.
Equipment
We have 10 brand new Killerspin MyT10 Club Pro tables which are black
and 2 Stiga Prestige which are navy blue. Each table will have a 17 x
40 ft playing area and barriers in the back. We will use white 40 mm Double Fish 3-star balls provided by our sponsor.
Rules
We will play best 3 out of 5 games each to 11 points. We will play according to
USATT rules.
